Welcome to the New Inn, Roydon.

We’re the village pub with a warm welcome for everyone.  There are warming log fires in winter, and a lovely beer garden and play area for the summer.  It’s easy to find us.

As you may have guessed, we are not really new any more.  Our pub is 200 plus years old, and has kept its traditional character.

Your host Mary Snell: 30 years at the New Inn

Your host, Mary Snell, has been landlady of the New Inn for 30 years.  She originally came in the early 1990s intending to stay for just 6 months, but she liked it so much she has stayed ever since.

In January 2023 she was presented with an award for her contribution to the pub and to the Roydon community.  She says “Roydon is such a friendly village and I feel fortunate to have a pub here.”
